Autumn

12.5.16

I love Autumn because the leaves fall to the ground. The leaves change color and they had been green.  We went outside to look at the leaves.  The leaves were orange and brown and crunchy.  I liked playing in the leaves and throwing them up into the sky.

Swimming Lessons

After school I am going to swimming lessons.  I have lessons at Costol Aquotics. The fan at Costol Aquotics will cool me down.   It is called Golder. Alee takes my fluterbord away so I can swim without my fluterbord.

I am happy because I like swimming.

Gooing to Auckland

I went to Auckland in the holidays.   I went in the truck with Mum.  It took a long time to get to Auckland and we had lots of stops on the way.  I met John and Di and I stayed at their house.  I slept downstairs inside a room with a comfe bed and my train blanket.   I had to have my ears checked at Greenlane Hospital.

My Batik Art

Kaleb’s Batik Artwork

Did you capture the beauty of the shapes, patterns, texture and natural symmetry of the rock pool creature you observed?
Yes.

How?
I found it on the computer, I did the lines.

Was it hard for you to transfer the patterns from your observational drawing to your batik?
Yes. I used coloured dye and hot wax.
